The rule

Minefield drops the party onto a hazard grid. Each step triggers a sensor that may or may not detonate. The round ends when the timer runs out or when every sensor in the active lane has been stepped on. Lethal sensors down a player on contact.

Lethal condition

Stepping on an active mine. Mines flicker red before detonation: if you watch the field for half a second before moving, you can read the safe path.

Survival tips

  • Stick to the player with the strongest sensor-reading instinct. Splitting the party doubles your exposed surface.
  • Mines flicker for half a second before detonation: learn the rhythm before you move on a red flicker.
  • Don't chase score in round one. Clearing without dying matters more than the sensor count.
