The rule

Table Manners has the party work a series of timed switches. Each switch has a window: hit it inside the window to score, outside the window to take lethal damage. The round completes when every switch has been hit inside its window.

Lethal condition

Hitting a switch outside its window. The window is visual: each switch lights up half a second before opening, and stays open for roughly one second.

Survival tips

  • Pick one player to call the timing. Two callouts is worse than no callout.
  • Watch the lights, not the switches. The window is the lit half-second; the switch itself is irrelevant until then.
  • If a player misses, the next switch still opens. Don't chase the last one; let the round reset.
