Stock player count

Stock Machine Party supports 2–4 players. Two-player is the most tactical; four-player is the most chaotic. The game is balanced for these counts.

Couch co-op on a single device, 2–4 players with controllers. On Steam Deck, 2–4 with attached controllers is comfortable.

Online is 2–4 players via room ID. Cross-platform play is supported between Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Some community mods push the count to 6 or 8 players. Stability varies; see the mods hub for what's currently working.
